Earned an ROTC scholarship to Texas A&M, becoming the first in his family to attend college

1990

Joined the Marines: Led special operations units in both the Persian Gulf and Somalia

1994

Ended his distinguished military career with the rank of Captain

1997

Graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Houston Law Center

Started his own law firm

Created the Buzbee Leadership Learning Center at Texas A&M

Appointed to the Texas A&M Board of Regents

Announced his candidacy for Mayor of Houston

Tony Buzbee

is a decorated Marine, successful lawyer and business owner, philanthropist and change agent. He is running for Mayor of Houston to end corruption, restore effective government and deliver results for all Houstonians.
